The Art League of Ocean City Center for the Arts is a non-profit that strives to promote artistic expression and appreciation for the creative arts in the community. This mission is achieved by the work they put into being a cultural center and regional catalyst, who inspire creativity, by providing accessibility to and promoting an understanding of the value of the arts.
The Art League of OC works to promote creativity and the appreciation of art through classes, exhibits, and events. Classes like painting, knitting, pottery, drawing, photography (just to name a few) are offered for kids and adults. Before you take a class be sure to check out the website to see what current exhibits are available. Also get to know the artists in the resident artist studios which feature local artists from Maryland. Additionally, the Art League offers visitors a chance to get to know the artists and learn more about their inspiration through events like Artist Talks and other fun outings like film festivals, music from emerging local artists and much more!
Sand Castle Tour
Events like the Sand Castle Home Tour help enable the Art League to remain free and open to the public. This year’s 18th tour will share 10 carefully curated homes, featuring everything from the cozy classic cottages to the oceanfront retreat. View the tour in person or virtually.
Out of town? No problem! Purchase a Virtual Only Tour ticket for $35 and tour all 10 homes as often as you’d like from any location. Tour dates for virtual tickets are from September 29 – October 31. If you’d like to tour In Person you’re in luck! Purchase a combo ticket for $50 that includes the Virtual Only Tour of 10 homes plus it’s your entry pass to tour 7 of our 10 featured homes in-person. Tour dates for the In Person Combo Tour are from September 29 – 30. This year I’m excited to not only be a sponsor but also a featured home on the tour!
Here's a peak inside my house! This three level home is located in Glen Riddle, MD and features 4 beds & 4.5 baths. The 3rd floor has three suites, two of which are master, a loft area, and laundry room. The living area plus the guest suite are on the 2nd level.
